Speaker: Felipe Espreafico Date: 10:30 29/09/2023 Title: The real, the motivic and the arithmetic Abstract: Starting from the classical motivic Donaldson Thomas invariants, we define a class of refinements of Donaldson-Thomas invariants taking values at the Grothendieck-Witt ring of quadratic forms, using the $\mathbb A^1$-Euler characteristic. We use the example of $\mathbb A^3$ to illustrate. We discuss the relationship between these refinements and the real counts and pose some problems.
