Title: L-functions and representations of p-adic groups under the Kazhdan transfer between close local fields.

Abstract: Let F be a locally compact non-Archimedean field, and G a connected quasi-split reductive group over F. 
We study arithmetic and representation theoretic information between close local fields, in the sense of Kazhdan. 
This enables us to transfer to characteristic p certain local results that are known or that we can prove in 
characteristic 0. We look into the case of a classical group G and study L-functions, Artin root numbers and 
unitarity of complex irreducible smooth generic representations of G(F).
