Title: Foliations in positive characteristic

Abstract: In this talk, I will give an overview of some objects related to codimension one foliations in positive characteristic. 
I will discuss how to use these objects to study problems of holomorphic foliations via reduction modulo p, in particular, the problem of 
detecting irreducible components of the space of codimension one foliations and some algebraicity problems of foliations in the complex 
projective plane.
