Remember this Monday there's a test, try to practice with the other
problems I'll hand out tomorrow in class!. Note also that even though there's
one exercise more than last week, this pset is shorter and somewhat easier.
Exercise 1
Solve Exercise 44 and problem 35 in section 4.1 of E&P. Try
not to look in the solutions for 35.
Exercise 2
Solve problem 66 of section 4.1
Exercise 3
Solve problem 48 in section 4.4 (note that trying to measure
this in Boston's discos is not solving this problem!)
Exercise 4
Solve problems 1-4 in section 4.5
Exercise 5
READ, READ again and understand examples 6 and 7 in section
4.6 Come up with similar examples if you want. (you get full credit for this
problem under oath that you read these examples... failing to do so may incur in
perjury)
Exercise 6
Solve problems 52 and 54 in section 4.7. Do not even check
your answers with a computer or calculator.
