This conference will be part of the celebration of the 60th birthday of Rafael José Iório Junior.   Professor Iório has been a reference in the nonlinear evolution pde’s since the 70’s at international and national level. He counts with a long list of PhD students. 

The conference will also provide an opportunity for the local community to attend lectures given by several experts in nonlinear pde on recent advances in the field.  Graduate students are encouraged to participate of this meeting.
