Brazilian Mathematics Colloquium

The biannual Brazilian Mathematics Colloquium congregates approximately 1000 students and researchers from various existing areas in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics. For almost four decades, this leading scientific event organized by IMPA has served to unite Brazilian mathematicians throughout the nation.

During the Colloquium, IMPA offers both elementary and advanced courses and professors prepare course material especially for the event. The program also features various types of lectures: plenary sessions, general lectures proffered by eminent scholars, scientific forums, specialized lectures and mathematical bulletins.
