The third Michael Brin Prize, sponsored by the Center for Dynamics and Geometry at Penn State, was awarded to Artur Avila, researcher of IMPA, on Saturday, October 22nd 2011, as part of the Semi-annual Workshop in Dynamical Systems and Related Topics.
